Show Concept

This year’s show is Kelly Clarkson’s “Anytime.”

This year’s show is a new venture for the Dixon High School Winter Guard. Soft, pretty, and serious is something that the guard has not attempted in the past. Lots of things fly through the air during the show.

The guard is performing on a black tarp, thank you Eureka for allowing us to borrow it. There are black flats that fill the left and back edge of the tarp. The guard is costumed in silver and various shades of purple. The flags are also various shades of purple and have black and silver accents. The will also be silver rifles.

This year’s show was designed by Chris Garstang, guard director. Also on staff this year are LeeAnn Hackworth and Jessica Summers. LeeAnn designed and made the costumes and worked with the guard on their movement. Jessica served as the weapons tech.
